For Staff:


1. All the activities mentioned can be generated for staff

2. The in time and out time can be taken to the payroll seamlessly

3. Various Payroll related reports can be generated on running the payroll for staff.


Security:


1. Cards issued to staff will have a feature to control the access to secured locations

2. The secured locations would be controlled through Fingerprint authentication and Door opener

3. Of the total strength of staff only a few will be allowed into secured areas like server room etc.,

4. Locations can be decided and required infrastructure like door opener and Fingerprint scanner can be set up

5. Timings for entry into secured areas can be fixed

6. Authorized personnel into the secures areas can be fixed

7. Only those authorized will be allowed and the door will open only on fingerprint authentication

8. Reports pertaining to the personnel who entered and the in and out time will be generated.

9. Security can also be extended to the server to notify who operated the server and at what time etc. can be recorded.


Canteen:


1. Under this module lunch and other snacks provided in the campus canteen will be managed.

2. For the daily lunch takers number of lunches can be stored in the card and each time they have lunch this can be reduced.

3. A detailed statement with regard to the usage of card for lunch purposes can be generated.

4. Since a provision for Cash loading into the card is being proposed, al a carte items can be displayed and the staff can select the items for lunch/snacks and corresponding amount will be deducted from the card.

5. At the end of day a detailed report for cash collections and usage of card can be taken out and the same may be used as a register for tallying cash at the counters

6. End of Month reports can be obtained that may include –Staff wise, date wise, item wise, cash loading and outstanding balances in each card

7. Special reports can be taken out to monitor the items that are popular and new items to be introduced etc.

Railway Season ticket Management


Proposed Operations:


Season Ticket Issue


1. Commuter to walk into any of the season ticket issuing centers

2. He will be photographed using the web cam

3. His photograph will be placed on the Smart Card and a new ID card with the required details like Name, Address etc. will be created and printed

4. Smart Card will be personalized with the following details

1. From Station

2. To Station

3. Validity Period

4. Cost of the season ticket

5. Serial No. Of the Season ticket

6. Control information to track – internal

7. Security Information – for protection

5. Cash will be collected from the commuter and card issued

6. Commuter can verify the correctness of the card in the kiosk provided on the premises

7. Commuter to carry the Smart Season ticket only

8. Reports will be generated at the end of day to tally the cash received etc.

9. Traveling ticket examiners can verify the identity from the face of the Smart

10. Season ticket with the photograph – to avoid misuse of the ticket by others

11. Smart season Ticket will be inserted into the Key chain reader to read the other information like: Validity, Route authorized to travel etc.


Season Ticket Renewal


1. Commuters to come with the Smart Season Ticket

2. At the counter for renewal ticket will be renewed and the data written on the chip

3. Cash collected and card returned to the commuter

4. Commuter can verify the correctness of the card in the kiosk provided on the premises

5. Commuter to carry the Smart Season ticket only
